a personal favourite of mine, im in there at least once a week! staff are usually very friendly and helpful, high turnover of books so there’s always something new worth checking out and as always very good prices and an eclectic collection of items! recently i’ve really enjoyed their lovely little postcards, they are beautiful i do miss the esoterica section that they had at the previous location of the store, a personal favourite find was a book on spontaneous combustion…

In basement and lift out of order so no good for arthritic knees! Helpful staff and nice tote bags. Kinda miffed that the section I needed (Christianity) was about as inaccessible as possible -literally under a desk so that you have to crawl on your hands and knees to find the books, but I guess there's a sermon in that.

My favourite bookstore in town. Every time I went there I can always find books that attract me, and of course at fair prices. The staff there are also very helpful and friendly! Will visit regularly!

Passing through St. Pancras and have an hour to spare? Pop down the road to Skoob. In fact if you are anywhere nearby call in. One of the top second hand bookshops in the City. Good selections of both fiction and non-fiction. 20% discount if you have your valid student card or are teaching staff.

It is so easy to get lost in this shop of wonders. It is a haven for people like me who enjoy the thrill of looking for books and making discoveries. Not an easy task of searching for a particular book though but the staff are always happy to help. I could definitely live here 😄 …
